White Eagle Aerospace (WEA) founder and president J. Terry White has stepped down as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Effective immediately, Scott A. Robb will assume the role of CEO of the Arizona-based aerospace training and consulting provider.
We extend our sincere gratitude to J. Terry White, who established WEA in October of 2006 and has grown the company into the premier training and consulting firm that it is today. We are pleased to announce that Terry will remain an integral part of WEA as the company’s Senior Advisor. In this new capacity, Terry will leverage his extensive instructional experience and technical knowledge to assist with the professional development of our instructors, curriculum, and consultants, ensuring that our training and consulting services remain at the forefront of the industry.

Terry is some one I worked with at Hughes years ago for many years. When we first met, we had cubicles next to each other. I admire him for his technical capability and, even more importantly, for the great person he truly is. I’m still “drawing missiles” and hope Terry continues to provide is technical insight. He is an asset to our entire industry.

I have been greatly blessed to associate with many fine and talented people such as yourself during my 50 year aerospace engineering career. Candidly, I must admit to the fact that it has been quite a challenge to come to grips with the reality that my time in the aerospace saddle has come to an end. Notwithstanding, while stepping away from active involvement in the aerospace industry in general and White Eagle Aerospace in particular, I will endeavor to support both from the sidelines in the days ahead.

Congratulations to you Terry. You are the consummate aerospace professional. You taught me aerodynamics. It was a class where I could always count on you to have a kernel of aerospace history to share – complete with dates, rates, altitudes and names – all without preparation, just on the fly *pun intended*. I still find these stories of amazing achievements (now on your WEA Blog) as rich and detailed as I remember from back then. Your technical abilities and memory for details amazed me. You are an inspiration to all of us who were blessed enough to have worked with you.
