Aerospace Technical Publications

Every successful aerospace professional knows the vital importance of establishing and maintaining a personal technical publications library. These valuable archival holdings include references on analytical methodologies, testing techniques, fundamental technology, phenomenology, databases, and time-proven lessons-learned. White Eagle Aerospace helps your career soar by offering you a variety of very useful, subject-specific technical publications designed to enhance your technical library and expand your career.

There are three (3) types of technical publications available through White Eagle Aerospace:
- Technical Reference Collection (TRC)
- Technical Note (TN)
- Technical Brief (TB)

* These aerospace engineering resources can be purchased online and downloaded for immediate use. A brief description of each technical publication type is provided below:

Technical Reference Collection (TRC)
A Technical Reference Collection is an assemblage of subject-specific technical reference documents. Examples include hypersonic aerodynamics, vehicle stability and control, aerodynamic heating, entry vehicle dynamics, projectile motion, separated flows, airfoil characteristics, and the like. Information is derived from public domain resources including the NACA, NASA, USAF, United States Army, and government research labs. Typically, TRC’s consist of approximately 20 to 25 documents.

Technical Note (TN)
A Technical Note is a primer or tutorial related to a specific technical topic. Examples include thin airfoil theory, oblique shock wave theory, slender body theory, 6-DOF equations of motion, aerodynamic drag calculational procedures, data reduction methods, and so on. A TN is formal in nature and serves as a valuable source of technical education and instruction.

Technical Brief (TB)

A Technical Brief is a techno-history of a specific aircraft, missile, or spacecraft. Examples here include the X-15, SR-71, Space Shuttle Orbiter, and Saturn V launch vehicle. Technical data such as vehicle physical characteristics and flight performance are provided as well as a review of the subject type’s flight history. Each Technical Brief is based on public domain information and serves as a valuable archival resource for vehicle designers, mission analysts, and aerospace historians alike.
